With the temporary closure of all TAB outlets & agencies, to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, the following are the ways to collect your Tote or Fixed Odds tickets and Vouchers.

On your TAB App

  • What you need to do open your TAB App and login
  • Click on Account in the bottom right corner
  • Click Check & Collect (enable your camera if necessary)
  • Scan the barcode at the bottom of each ticket
  • Winning dividends will be credited to your account 
  • Remember this does not include Trackside tickets or where you have exceeded your daily deposit limit. Additionally, collects of $10,000 or greater may require additional checks before being credited to your account

If you don’t have your TAB account on the App

  • First Download the TAB App
  • Click on Account in the bottom right corner (iOS) or click on the menu in the top left corner (Android)
  • Click Check & Collect (enable your camera if necessary)
  • Scan the barcode at the bottom of each ticket
  • Scan tickets using Check & Collect (available via TAB App) 
  • This will tell you if your ticket is a winner or not

Remember that this cannot be used for Trackside tickets

To collect any winning tickets or vouchers, refer to the following two options :

  1. Open new account
  2. Send copy of Tote, Fixed Odds or Trackside tickets or Vouchers to Customer Service 

To  Open a new account 

  • Download the TAB App or use tab.com.au to create the account
  • Follow the prompts and provide all required information
  • Link your bank details (BSB & Acc No.) to the account 
  • Follow the Identification & Verification steps 
  • Use Check & Collect (via the TAB App) to scan winning tickets or redeem vouchers 
  • Funds will be added to your account balance 

Use EFT to withdraw funds into the bank account you nominated.

Again note that  this process cannot be used for Trackside tickets

Send copy of Tote, Fixed Odds or Trackside tickets or Vouchers to Customer Service 

For this option you need to take a clear, colour photo of your winning ticket or voucher next to the front of your drivers’ licence, proof of age card or passport – must include full ticket & ID details

Take a photo of the back of your drivers’ licence or proof of age card

Email the photos to  accountadmin@tabcorp.com.au

  • On the email enter Subject Field: COLLECT TICKET 
  • Then mention Your full name, Current address, Phone number  and Email address 
  • Also mention your Preferred payout selection – cheque or EFT (TAB staff will call you for bank details) 
  • Remember that  payments of $10,000 or greater will be subject to additional checks 

Refunds for Fixed Odds events, which are currently suspended, are being addressed as information from Sporting Associations come to hand. Approved refunds may become available and if so, will be able to be claimed as per options given above.

Cash Out will no longer be available for Retail tickets. You will have to submit your ID proof to get payouts.  This is because TAB want to make sure that you have full access to your account, including the ability to make withdrawals. That’s why it’s important to verify your account within 14 days.

Also you might need to statutory declaration forms and you have to complete a Statutory Declaration, including for ID verification purposes. If you wish to make a claim for a lost, damaged, or erroneous ticket, ensure you have read all instructions on the relevant form and completed all items on the checklist.

Different rules are in place for expired tickets in NSW, VIC & ACT. All NSW, QLD, SA & NT TAB tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of the event indicated on the ticket.

Within the 12 month time limit customers may collect a dividend?by either presenting the ticket in person to any TAB outlet or venue within NSW or by sending the ticket?to the address indicated below.? Make ensure you photocopy your ticket for your own records and include your name and address for a cheque to be forwarded to:

Remember that all NSW tickets are null and void once the 12 month time limit from the date of the event has expired.? No dividends can be claimed after this time.

All Victorian TAB tickets are valid for 6 months from the date of the event indicated on the ticket. Within the 6 month time limit customers may collect a dividend?by either presenting the ticket in person to any TAB outlet or venue within?VICTORIA or by sending the ticket to the address indicated below.? Also ensure you photocopy your ticket for your own records and include your name and address for a cheque to be forwarded to:

Once the 6 month time limit has expired all unclaimed dividends are forwarded to the State Revenue Office in Victoria.? Customers may claim any dividends from:

Also contact the above office prior to sending in a claim to ensure you have included all relevant information that may be required by the State Revenue Office to locate your dividend.

In Tasmania

  • A person may claim from the license holder within 12 months of the event being resulted.
