Cessnock Racecourse proudly hosts the annual ANZAC Day races on Wednesday 25 April. Last years unveilling of Bill the Bastard Memorial statue was a huge success with proceeds going to Soldier On. This year there will be two-up, food vendors, kids rides, kids entertainment, live music and a drink for all Service men & women.

Join in the ANZAC fun at Flemington with free entry and free first drink for any ADF or RSL personnel! The Mooney Valley Brass Band will be playing the last post at the memorial ceremony and try to spot the jockey in the ANZAC day colours in each race.

The eight-race program is highlighted by the running of the Listed VRC St. Leger (2800m).
